Our sponsored Leos have received national recognition for their dedication to making a difference in our community and around the world. Twelve members recently participated in the USA/Canada Leo Leadership Forum held in Chicago, IL where they networked with Lions and Leos from all areas of North America. The Merced Breakfast Lions Club is the proud sponsor of three Merced area youth clubs: the Merced High School Leo Club, the El Capitan High School Leo Club, and UC Merced Omega Leo Club. Collectively, these clubs have provided over 10,000 hours of community service over thirty years. The Merced Breakfast Lions Club current gives twelve $1000 college scholarships to local high school and community college students

Our club has sent local youth ambassadors to countries around the globe for over 60 years! With sister clubs in over 122 countries, we have also had the privilege of hosting many young visitors. This cultural exchange has promoted cooperation, appreciation, awareness, and personal enrichment for all participants.
